Doc

I am installing our 577 cam in a 2012 CVO.. I will setting compression to 10.1 and will be adding the 58 MM T/B I know this is not the cam you are using however it may show a trend that you could make the call as to the extra cost if the gain is worth.  I am going to be looking at the 6 + 110 that we have  already done with the cam .... vs this next upgrade. That should give me somewhat of an idea if its worth it or not.

Funny on the CCP deal DOC ..  ACR  still engaged when testing????

It should show a nice increase in tq curve in the low to mid rpm range.

I have Baisley Pro Street headwork on my 110 motor with the stock 255's with 50mm TB. The guides and seals failed twice with the last time rear exhaust valve stuck. All fixed and put back together then removed and changed motors. The 110 has been in a box since. Thought about tearing it down and having Darkhorse do the bottom end and have as a backup motor. Would I have to start over with new heads or could mine be reworked?

The heads can be fixed easily. AV&V guides and seals will fix it.
Got one of those Genesis 110 builds just finished. BVHOG will post when he gets it done.

Baisley is still my man, however T-Man has been after my business for a while now and while we were at the Cincy Trade Show this year TR approached me so we sat and talked for a while. I told him of my goal with the 110'' motors, working with the 255 cam, (I don't want to loose that low end grunt the 255 has) so he said he would do a special port for me to reach that goal with a 10 to 15 day turn around. (can't beat that)
My goal is 108/128, I want 110 tq at 2000rpm (we are there) I want 120 tq at 2550 rpm (we are at 117) I want the tq to carry to the right more and we are 110 tq at 5000 rpm. My peak tq is at 125 and that carries for 1000 rpm before it starts to fall. The compression is 10.1:1 using the .030 cometic head gaskets.....no sign of detonation yet.
TR is using a 2.130 intake and a 1.650 exhaust.....I want to try a 2.2 intake next to get a little more air in the cylinder in the short time the 255 cam allows.
So far I am, and my customers, are very happy with the results, however, I am not where I want to be as of yet. The best so far is 105/125 but I am confident we will reach it soon.....every job gains a little more.  It's getting to the point now where the customers exhaust systems are helping or hurting the results.....the more I do the more I can distinguish between the head design and the pipe de facto by the shape of the tq curve.
Hope that answers all your questions.
Oh....I haven't tried a larger Throttle body yet because I what to keep the price as low as we can......but it would be VERY interesting to see the results with a 55mm or 58mm TB.........any takers out there?.....lol

Thanks, that is good to know. I don't know what kind of guides and seals Dan used. At least they are clean as I haven't fired since it was put back together.

You rode from Washington State to Florida so you could visit your mother in law on her birthday?

Nice one!  We can all learn from you!   :) :wings: :ons_1: :2vrolijk_09:
