First - go by the auto parts store and buy some brake cleaner. There may be some oil or grease on the disc from the factory. Spray the disc off then wash and rinse the wheel off very well.
Second - Ride it. I have a 2012 ultra with ABS. I have 7500 miles on mine and it works great. Put some miles on it and let them settle in. Before this I had a 2005 CVO fatboy with no ABS. The 2012 bike stops and feels as good, if not better than the lighter fatboy.

I ride my bike up in the north Georgia mountains and it's handling, stopping, acceleration are all great on this bike in those curvy roads.

Ride it until the wheels fall off, then hang-on

My SE8 did the same thing until I put a few hundred miles on it.  Not an ABS issue just need to get them to wear in.  I just returned from a 2000 mile trip right after my 1000 mile check up and all worked just fine.  Don't panic it will improve.
