Just want to report back that, other than being a little nervous everytime I crack the throttle open now [smiley=nervous.gif], there is amazingly no apparent damage to my motor from this incident.

That's great to hear. This will soon be a distant memory and you will not even think about it when you crack the throttle. Along what others have mentioned about the makeup of the motor, remember you had good oil, and a real good oil pump (which may have been the reason so much oil sprayed out [smiley=nixweiss.gif]) to keep that motor lubricated. Ride it like you stole it. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
