Rode a nice 2009 street glide this summer with a 21 inch front and a 18 inch rear. And I must say I hated it.  Was the slowest turning Harley I have ever rode.  Making lane changes on the high way was scary, I would try to make a fast lane change and the bike just sat there. I would have to counter steer with all my might to get it to change lanes. And the front 21 also made the front end feel that much sloppier dew to the increase in  centrifugal force that made the chitty fork flex and twist like crazy. All in all I would not go bigger that a 18 inch in the front to keep the same steering dynamics of the bike.  Just my 2 cents worth.

HMMM, my 12 CVO road glide comes stock with a 19 front wheel.  So does my 13 CVO Road King.  Both handle fantastic.

My 03 Fatboy I changed to a 21 front wheel two years ago. Handles much better than it did stock.  Had to lower the forks an inch to get it right.

21 on the Front with a proper front end lower will handle just like stock if not better, if you get the right size rubber, to go with it.

He is running 21 by 3.5 in the front and a 18 in the rear with a 200 tire. Metzler tires, big apes, and the bike is lowered.  It rode great in a straight line, until you want to change lanes. Then it's time to start cranking. Will prob go with a 19 in the future. I home Michelin makes a 19 front by then. Cheers.

My skunk is one inch lower in the rear from the factory, with a 19 up front and apes it handles great.

My fatboy has very wide beach bars on it, 37 inches.  21 up front and just love it.  Never squirmy, handles better than stock.

Trying to see if I can swing doing a 23 on My CVO Road King.  Every thing I read and everyone I talk to with a 23 really likes it, when set up with Pickard kit, and lowered on inch in the forks to get the geometry right.

That could be a big difference! I'm 1" lower, but stock 180 16 in rear.
