I have the new Freedom installed.  I am still get used to the height (12"). I think the height is about where it was on my Ultra before.  I have just got used to low shield. But the wind is so much less. I don't have the radio as high and no buffering at all. I will get my better half's POV soon.

When I went from the stock 10 inch to the LRS 11" I kinda freaked out for a few minutes. I could not believe how much significance there is to one more inch. Wife says, Amen! but that is another topic. After a ride or two i am really liking the new size but the rainbow thing will cause me to eventually try there Freedom Shield.
