Check the position of your speaker switch. It needs to be rocked all the way back so the light on the switch is on.

Make sure you have all 3 volume levels on the GPS turned to 100%

If still no joy then recheck all your connections. Install the Y Splitter and 3.5mm cable to the Auxiliary Input so that you can check to make sure the wiring harness is good. If you can hear the turn prompts when the radio mode is in "AUX" then the wiring harness is OK.

So with this add-on, he will not hear any GPS commands in his headset like we do with our GPS?
