A head gasket swap on the 110 with a nice low to mid-range cam has proven to be a very "happy middle ground" upgrade. While the heads are off I would highly recommend a simple valve spring swap as well. A set of AVV 600 lift springs is a straight across swap that will increase reliability and reduce overly high valve spring pressure for the street engines. Total cost for a upgrade like that would be under 1850 dollars with a tune complete. Cam, lifters, springs, .030 head gasket and tune. This kit is a large percent of the CVO 110 upgrade kits we install ,.. as it is a way to improve performance , decrease heat widen the power range without loosing the low end power and improving upon the stock platform parts wise, as well lower cost budget wise then other routes.  Enjoy what you have now and in the future maybe its something you do.
