Dang dealer called and sweetened the deal a little.  9500.00 trade difference with a $500.00 gift card.  Think I can get them to $9000 difference now.  Decisions decisions.

From the limited info I have stumbled across I do believe thre rg seat height is about one inch lower than the limited.
I am also seriously considering the cvo road glide but not until 2016 or 2017...I am using the old reliable "let them work out the bugs" excuse.

Since you've had several bikes/CVOs in the past you should know handlebars are easily changed or adjusted.  When I took delivery of mine, the bars were way too far back.  I went back the next morning and they adjusted them forward and they are actually the best positioned bars I've ever had.

Go for it...you won't regret the trade.

This bike amazes me every time I swing a leg over it...best bike I've ever had.

Of all the CVO's i've had i never have changed or adjusted the handlebars. I'm buying the CVO RG for little over $39K & getting $30,400 for my CVO Limited. Trade difference is where i wanted to be when we started all this negotiation. I pretty much blew it all off & put the Fullsac DX pipe on my current ride. Then the salesman called & said they wanted to sell the bike & made me a better offer. I went lower than what they came back at. They took the deal..

I think the CVO limited and CVO RG Ultra have the same seat height, I own the new CVO RG Ultra and have put some miles on the CVO Limited.

The HD Demo truck was in town at the dealership. Were doing demo rides on Saturday & Sunday. I went in to see if i could ride the CVO RG Ultra since i wasn't going to be in town over the weekend. They agreed to let me ride it. Well we took off & first thing i didn't like was the handlebar position. Second it seemed to sit lower than my CVO Limited, it may have been that the shocks didn't have enough air in them. Third the wind buffeting was better than my current bike. The radio seemed to be clearer than mine at full volume. Overall it didn't impress me enough to trade my CVO Limited for it. It was a nice ride but just not the WOW factor i thought i would have to trade for it. They had one Blue CVO RG they just rolled out on floor & it was snatched up quickly. Anyways i'm just gonna keep mine & save the $$$$$$$$.  Thanx for all the replies.

Which color?  When you picking it up?  Pictures?

The handlebar position is easily changed if you still do not like it.  Had mine adjusted at delivery.

Very cool.  Blue is just great in person, and pops in the sun.  Post pictures when you get yours.

Maybe something in 2016.

…and theres the trade off.  :-\

Thats a long wait and over that time you could have been enjoying a new bike.

I saved heaps with my 2014 CVO getting it for $10K less being 6 months old with 7,000 kms.

I can't see HD putting more coin into the 2016's s as they produced less CVO's this year.

Look at selling privately and settle on a bottom line price that will make your teeth grit.

With the cash you've saved on a trade pull the trigger on a 2015. Happy days.   :banana rock:

Edit: Sorry I missed your last post…well done!
