Prep is pure BS,  if you buy enough bikes at the same dealer they should not charge you at all for freight it's like saying thanks for coming back. I haven't paid freight or prep on the last 5 bikes and paid less than MSRP on all of them.

Ditto, although my dealer wasn't making me that kind of deal on 14's mid season, I went back last month and got the same kind of deal they gave me on my last 4 bikes. Under MSRP and no freight and prep.
I did get the extended this time though because of all the issues I heard about.
Good luck.

I was quoted $900 for frieght and prep locally here on Long Island. Yep, paying the prep is BS. That said, I'm not going to lose sleep over it when the CVO I left my deposit on is at MSRP, I'm getting the color I wanted at a dealer 15 minutes away from my house. I'm waiting for the delivery of a Hard Candy Mercury SG.

Anybody buying a CVO in the selling season under MSRP and not paying frieght and prep good for you!! Here on Long Island and the immediate tri state area, thats not happening in most cases, CVO or not. Bikes left over as the new selling season starts is another story.

Anyone have a cost on a five year extended warranty for a 2015 CVO SG?

Interesting. In Australia we have the one Ride Away Price applicable to each bike no matter where you buy it. At present the CVO Limited the most expensive of the bikes available in Australia is AUD$50995 ride away. (Includes Freight, Rego & Dealer Delivery). So no matter which dealer you buy from in Australia you know how much you are up for. If you have a trade, that's where it gets interesting as this is where things can vary. Dealers can offer what they like and it's up to your negotiation skills to secure a good deal. If you have no trade then you know what the price is no matter where you buy in Australia.
