I haven't tried all the other options out there so I can't comment or give a true comparison but there seems to favorites for every group riders just like with cams.....   :drink:

On Saturday I added 944's to my 2013 FLHTCUSE8. The Mono-tubes are shipping this week.  So far the improvement from the rear alone is very noticeable.   I've never replaced the front before and am anxious to feel the difference.

Progressive has released their  Monotube front suspension kit for the Rushmore bikes.  $500.

MONOTUBE CARTRIDGE KIT FOR HD TOURING, 2015

I have had the AK20's so long I don't think I could ride with anything else and be as happy. Just in case anyone wants to know. Jim(hddude) can install them for you as he did mine. :2vrolijk_21:

I have it in writing from Progressive that their 2015 kit does NOT fit the CVO, certainly not my 2014 Road King. Just make sure the product will work with your CVO.

Had the front mono tubes installed this week...  huge difference in the ride.  I haven't had enough real riding time yet, but they sure are a whole lot stiffer than stock.  The bike doesn't lurch forward much at all when stopping.

I should be clear having just looked at the Progressive site again, it is just the Road King that it is specific about the kit not fitting, other Touring based CVO's look like they will be OK. I wonder why it is just the RK the kit does not fit??
