What is involved in making the tourpac lights into turn signals?
« on: February 03, 2015, 03:16:56 PM »

If it's just a wiring harness, does anyone have the part # and how difficult is it to install?
Thanks

Mike

All you need is a checkbook and a pen!  Then go buy a 2015!    ;) :apple:

If you are talking a 2010 thru 2013 CVO with the LED tourpack lights, Harley now sells a wiring harness that goes between the plug under the seat to the LED tourpack light bar.  When I had my 2010 SEUC, a fellow member was the first to make us wiring kits until the MOCO came out with their own harness.  I'm not good at posting links but there is about a 40 page thread on this subject.  Just read the last few pages or you will be confused as most of the pages cover the forum made wiring harness and not the MOCO's..  It is easy to do and well worth the added turnsignal visibility in the rear.  If this isn't what you wanted to know, I have done a lot of typing for nothing.   :cherry:

Ride Time Technologies makes a harness. Simple to install. Check this thread for more info:

reply #188. You don't need the 69200042A "kit" you only need P/N 69911-11(Module) and 70933-10(Y harness) and follow the instruction in that same reply and you should be all set.

On my 11.5 the "original" connector for the LED's had the red, white, blue, purple ect.. That connector is now just laying in the bottom of the TP unused

They've been out of business since the beginning of 2014 unless someone bought them and restarted manufacturing. I wanted one last year for the '11 I had and was about a week too late.

Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about Ride Time shutting down.

Custom Dynamics also offers a Run Brake Turn module in several different configurations, maybe one of those would work.
