Dear Sir,

Both wheel sizes on my 2011 Road Glide CVO are 18".
Will there ever be a 180/55B-18 size Dunlop American Elite rear tire for my bike?

Hi Dennis,

Yes, we are currently working through the different phases of design, mold procurement, etc for the 180/55B18 American Elite. If no delays, we are estimating availability late 2015 / early 2016.

I have a street glide cvo 2011 and after 14000km i already have troubles with my tires i think they name it "CUBBING" why is there not a other brand of tire? please help

sol, it's called "cupping". Can be caused by improper inflation, wheel balance etc.

My factory Dunlops (D407 & D408), like many on this site, cupped before they were ready to be replaced.  My tire pressure was checked weekly to biweekly, so that wasn't the cause and the balance was done at the factory.  I think the factory Dunlops are just prone to cupping.

Thats what i wanted to say. I check on a weekly basis the pressure .
I would like to put on other tires but they still are not available

I got the same "canned" answer from the same person when I asked the same question of Dunlop.  I just replaced both tires with D407 on rear and american elite on front.  Hopefully, when rear goes bad, they will have an american elite in 180/55B18 available.  If not, back to the D407...
