John,
Thanks for sharing. Does me good to see the riders out enjoying themselves on New Years Day. Weather here started off raining most the morning then sun came out later this afternoon. I can't wait until I have the desire to get back on two wheels and catch some wind. Come to think about it I'll be happy when I have the desire (and can do it pain free) just to get back in a cage and ride somewhere. :(

Now I know you an Mark opened those [smiley=banana.gif]'s up a little. Come on tell us how did they do. ;D

Great Looking pics JR.  Good to see the others in your area and you enjoying your CVOs, the companionship, the day riding and brining in the New Year in class and style.

Jamey and I rode today as well.  We pulled out of our garage with a few sprinkles, but we were geared up, so no problem.  We drove through some pretty bad rain on our way to North Richmond where a polar bear ride was supposed to take us to Tapahanock for some seafood lunch.  Well, we saw three very bad accidents enroute - folks dying to get to their destinations - and when we arrived, we were the only two on bikes.  Jamey said he kept looking to see if I was doing OK in the rain, but every time he looked at me, I might have been soaking wet, but I had a huge smile on my face and was obviously enjoying what we were doing.  Kinda dissapoining that no one else came out, but we road back home, got out of our wet gear and went out in four wheels and still had fantastic seafood lunch.  We also enjoyed bringing in our New Year with a bike ride and good lunch.  Happy New Year all.   ;) :) [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Didn't get a chance to Gary, there were hundreds of bikes out there and Mark left before me. Looks like it will have to be another day! [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

JR,

Thanks for the pics.  Its in the high 40's here today, but the bike sits in the garage :-?.

I have been to that part of Memphis in my business travels.

I would love to take my boat out today, but it is in storeage and the lakes here in the DFW area are so low, that most of the ramps are closed.

Those are some brave folks that would wakeboard in water that has to be about 50 degrees :o  Way too cold for this ole boy.
