Fullsac HP/TQ
« on: February 10, 2015, 05:08:31 PM »

What kind of numbers can one expect out of a tuned stock 2015 Touring with a DX pipe, aftermarket mufflers and a better than stock air breather?

Do you have any more detailed info??
Stock what touring?
What mufflers?
What a/c?
If you so search for dyno runs, you will probably get a whole bunch of charts.

Have you looked at the Stage 1 dyno charts Steve posted on the Fullsac website?

Thanks Check"d out the web site, seems the charts are head pipe change only, no muffler cores or muffler brands listed.

It's a air cooled 103" RC muffs and a Ness breather. I'm not looking for an exact, just ballpark numbers.

This might be what is considered a "stage 1" upgrade.
Most have seen about a 10-14 HP and TQ increase. (plus or minus)
Lot depends on the tuner/tech, mufflers, a/c.
Remember, all parts should play well together.
Just what I have seen here at sea level.

Here's a before and after dyno chart from a 2014 air cooled 103 that I tuned last week.

DX Pipe, 2.0 baffle in the stock mufflers. S+S AC and TTS Mastertune.

Ran really strong for a 103 with just bolts ons.

Most of the stage I 2014-15 103s make about 86-88 HP. This one was real good!

Steve

I have heard of regular 103 engines being built with the High Output cams being mistakenly installed in them. I wonder if that may have been the case on that one?

To my knowledge, all of the 2014-15 air and water cooled cams are the same. They all seem to make about
the same power on my dyno. This one and one other that I have tuned hit the 90 HP mark. Just a lucky one?
Maybe? Most likely good conditions in the dyno room and the fact I caught it right after a reflash on the first
pull with the intake temps on the cool side.
Dyno secrets revealed part one! Lol..

Who was the HD employee that told you they installed incorrect cams in 103's in the engine shop? I would really like to talk to him or did you read it on the internet? We all know how that works.

A local INDY shop owner told me, in person, that he ran across it.
