Klock Werks wind shield
« on: February 26, 2015, 06:26:54 PM »

Has anyone replaced their stock wind shield with a Klock Werks on their 2011 Street Glide CVO? How do you rate it?

Don't know about Klock Werks but I got myself a Freedom shield and the workmanship and quality
are fantastic, very happy, also impressed with the polished edges that you don't get on the standard
shield.

I am 5'10, stock seat, 2010 CVO Street Glide, 6.5 Klockwerks works great, see over it, less air than the 7 inch Harley shield. I also have a 2010 CVO Ultra, with the Hammock seat I sit a little higher and more upright, went to a 8.5 Klockwerks on that bike and it works great also.

Used 8.5" Klock Werks on my EG and use the 6.5" on my CVO SG. Both work great. I bought one of KW when they first came out and experienced buffering/vibration. Called them up and got it replaced. Later models were different material and worked extremely well. That was back in 08 should all be good now. Highly recommend. I'm 6'1"

I have a 6.5 kW on my cvo that was on my 2010 for 40k miles.  I wouldn't ride with any other shield.
