Took my Maiden Vogage on the new bike and again and again
« on: February 28, 2015, 02:06:20 PM »

wow! thats allot more bike than my 01'!
only did about 20 miles
only stalled! twice! crap!
going to take some getting use to trottle, brakes and...
but man that was great
wish I had a picture to post other than this

got it in looking like a over wrapped taco!
man it was cold

put Flash in the front yard with the for sale sign
since I get allot of traffic and other bikers going by the house
will try and get the proper post out to see if I can find him a good home

Put another 60 miles on it Saturday before the floods started here later Saturday.
getting better, or at least I did not stall the bike at a light this time!

but still got a ways to go on my own to just get use to the hell of a braking system this one has compared to the 01!
that,
and since the previous owner put a "Super Tune" on the bike
I'm sure that is contributing to the ease of the throttle results

feel like it's either trying to throw me over the handle bars or pull me off the back!
I'm making it out worse that it is,
but it's going to be a while before I'm 100%!
is that possible?

I know worthless without pictures, well I took the camera but was to rapped up in just doing a good job of riding

Got ran out of the house Saturday,
"Pampered Chef" party going on so
had to work in the morning then came home and grabbed the bike before all of the "Ladies" started showing up,
went for about 2 hour ride which included Gumbo at Noah's in Bacliff

and !
had to learn a lesson the hard way,
went to roll her back into a space and knew right away I started to soon with the bike on the right coming up fast!
so had her cut as far as I could then came the pathment change from street level to the slopped bike park
and she started to "Roll" to the left,
did all I could with the exception of throwing myself on the ground to keep the bag, etc. from take the bulk of my stupidity!

and some how got it stopped but no way was I getting back up!
Saturday afternoon the place is full inside and out!

"a Little help please" and over the fence they came
 :-X

of all places to almost Screw up,
Right in front of your peers!

but not damage done, learned a lesson

swing away from the turn so you can roll backwards more straighter!

thanks Haird,
I think about each time I ride every night,
what I did, how it was good, and how it needs to be improved
I ran across allot of riders and did not join up,
one I wasn't invited nor do I feel like I'm there yet.
but going to work on longer rides this week end weather permitting,
and most diffentelty going to work on my problem areas

I'm really enjoying this new bike so no scratches!
