Found a grommet that fits the hole pretty good.

Fastenal #4425

While I had the wheel off, I pull the tail light wires back and installed the grommet.  Sealed it in place with RTV.

Pulled the pins from the deutsch connector so I could get the wires through the grommet.

I hope that I won't get as much dirt under seat now.

Great idea!  I always just put a big gob of silicone in that hole but like the grommet better.  What size did you use.  Bet the Home Depot will have one.

That grommet is 1.25" ID with a 3/8" center bore.

I got it at Fastenal part number 4425.

Spec are:
3/8' Bore Dia
1/16' Groove Width
1" Groove Dia
1 1/4" Outside Dia
1/4" Overall Thickness

For the '08 that I traded in...I had found a grommet that was split...no need to remove/disco any wires.....I did have a spare....I'll see if I can find it whilst attempting to organize the garage after moving. I'm hoping it's got some numbers on it.

I tried that first and it did work.....but the fit was not as clean so I decided to pull the wire.
