One of the things I love about both the telephone companies and the cable companies is how they never know their stuff is down, and won't believe the first dozen or so people who call to let them know their stuff isn't working.  Been down that road with cable and POTS, and the first thing out of the reps mouth is they don't see anything wrong on their end.  I don't suppose they do, since "their end" is in India these days.

anytime i have a problem and have to call tech support, they always want to blame my equipment.  funny how an hour ago i was reaching 30 mbps download speed, and now i'm at .2 mb.  but somehow it's my fault.  then mysteriously, a couple of hours later (if i'm lucky) my equipment has magically fixed itself and i'm getting good download speeds again.......

First thing I do when I hit the office in the morning is log in to the server, open Outlook and then this site...runs all day.  Yesterday, I actually had to work because of the site being down.....  >:( :o ::) :P ;D :huepfenlol2: :bananarock: :huepfenpinkie: :zroflmao:

Sho B glad she back up an-a runnin this morning.  Wouldn't want to have to work two days in a row.... :)

Yeah that would be awkward. Don't know what I would do in his position...do know that I do not ever want to find out. It might make me ride even more to try and figure things out and clear my head...or maybe not. Hope everything works out for him and his son.

Wow! That's a tough situation.  Just the opposite experience here.  I was riding with my dad when he went down.  Totaled his 2003 CVO Road King.  Took him 5 years to get back going and riding.  I kept riding but had mixed emotions about seeing him ride again.  He's a great and safe rider.  I still hear the sounds and see his lifeless body with blood coming from under his helmet.  Thankfully he has made a full recovery.  Sorry to hear about your neighbors sons injury.
