Fullsac DX TTS 100 dyno test!
« on: March 12, 2015, 04:08:52 PM »

Just finished installing and dyno tuning the new TTS 100 Cam in a 2012 CVO. Nothing fancy, simple stage I with a stainless DX pipe, 2.0 Power cores, stock 255 CVO cams. All parts were identical except for the cam change. Both runs in 6th gear SAE. Bike was retuned with TTS Vtune 3. AFR at WOT was set at 13.2 across the board for both cylinders.Cam was bolted straight in with stock pushrods. Never seen this kind of TQ at 2K RPM before. The increase was ridiculous! The seat of the pant increase was immediately noticeable too from the moment you let the clutch out. The roll on improvement was more than I expected.
I think this will prove to be a great cam choice for the heavily loaded Touring rider.

I like the low end torque on this cam. Was the valve train quiet or did it have the stock 110 valve train noise?

Good question.

Valve noise was very similar to stock. No louder but not quieter either. Cole is working on a new oil pump kit
to boost low RPM oil pressure with out it being excessive at hi RPM. A hot engine dropping below 10 PSI at idle is normal
but certainly not ideal for valve train noise and lifter life.  I will be testing one in this same bike shortly.

Those are actually stock CVO tips with a new endcap added to our Power cores.
That's a spy photo that accidentally got posted Lol..
Went for a test ride this morning. The roll on with this new cam is really improved.
Does nice burn outs too!

Will these work on the existing 2.00 baffles or do we need to purchase new baffles/power cores?

Thanks

I'm 4-6 weeks out on having the parts. Its just a 3" endcap added to the end of our regular core, but it is welded on.
I will make them available to those who already have cores and are able to take on a little welding job.

I see this was from March and we are June so you probably have some updates by now this oil pump sounds interesting and of course the cam, have you installed some of them? Does it work good on a 103?  Thank you for the great service on my order of mastertune and Fulsac, once I get home and get time it will get installed and I was thinking of this cam as my lifters need to be done.

I think I understand that dyno sheet and if I am reading it correctly this setup would work great for me since I ride 2 up most of the time and a lot of my miles are loaded as well.

That being said what kind of money am I looking at to have these cams installed along with new lifters in my 13 110?

Update!

The good news first.
Steve Coles cam plate mod is working great on my 120ST. 50 PSI at cruise and 15 at idle hot.

Bad news. The cosmetic endcaps for the CVO mufflers are not going to happen at this time. I am unable to use existing tooling as I anticipated. Turns out the endcaps I used were old product that is no longer available from this vendor. Not ready to drop 5K on tooling.

Ballpark numbers:  $300 for cams, $250 for lifters, $225 for S & S Quickee pushrod and covers kit, plus the labor to install.  YMMV
