J&M has a nice set up for Full Faced helmets.  No mic boom just a small mic cut into the foam just to the left of the mouth piece air vent on my Shoei.  On the HD 3/4 helmet, I have the stock set up and had to use spacers to push the ear speakers closer to my ear.  Cuts down on the wind noise and improves the sound.  (Let's just say it sounds better to me)

I sold the HD set that came with the bike on Ebay & bought the J&Ms (ported),  they are much better but still do not have much bass response!

See the above post on adding spacers to bring the speakers a little closer to your ears.  You may experience some better bass response by doing that.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Just fyi for those considering the J&M helmets, they only have colors that match the Goldwings.  If you want any other color, you buy the helmet and send it to them.  Also, this only works for the fullfaced Profile and the 3/4 model that J&M sells.  The will not do the hidden install on anything else, only the clamp on, which you can do yourself.

 ;D ;D Last time I checked...

The Platinum is also nice...matches the Silver on my 06 almost perfectly, and it's cooler in summer!

They call it "pearl black".  I imagine it's a metalflake black, but not the copper metalflake your jester is.  Since I have a blue, none of the silver colors are as close as the silver frost, which Arai makes, j&m just doesn't premake them.

J&M at least used to let you send them your helmets for the audio installs.  So if you're interested that might be an option.  This might be a bit darker blue than your bike but Nolan does offer this one:

I don't know if I could wear Platinum with my 'Black Ice'. It may not accessorize correctly.

What types of (Brand) helmets are you using?  I was wondering if anyone has used the ARAI 3/4 that J&M sells.  I recently read a test in motorcycle magazine that and Eclipse full face helmet beat every other helmet tested and it sells for under $100.00.  http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/gearbox/motorcycle_helmet_review/   My next question is, will the J&M comms fit in most of these helmets or do you need to stick with the helmets they sell?  I don't want to buy an expensive helmet to find out the electronics wont fit.

Any helmet with opening for speakers (and that includes most all of them) will work.  If the stock H-D headset will fit then so will the J&M.
