SE fork oil or type E

Installing a HD premium ride front lowering kit. Would there be any benefit in putting a fork oil other than type E like SE?

If it were me, I would stick with what Harley recommends initially.  If you decide after riding the bike a while that you think you need a little more damping, it's pretty simple to change the fluid.  Changing the viscosity of the fluid is overhyped and not all that noticeable for normal riding, unless of course you go overboard and use a heavy weight fluid and screw up the ride completely.

I recently traded in my 2007 FLHX on a 2010 CVOFLHX. I had changed the fork oil on the 07 and used the SE heavy instead of the type E. What an improvement! It was like a new bike wrt ride and handling. Good luck.
