Chrome parts fitment
« on: January 05, 2007, 07:19:51 PM »

I have purchased quite a few parts for my new CVO Springer just to find out they do not fit ... my dealer said they would fit but guess what they do not even come close... May be time for MOTOR CO to train parts employes ... Any talk of when MOCO will release chrome goodies for the 110... thanks skippy

Welcome to Club CVO Skippy [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I love it when the ''experts'' behind the counter screw up....I just love going back and giving them a real hard time.

According to the MoCo, these bikes are all decked out, no short cuts, no other addons needed [smiley=confused5.gif] Yeah right, Just joking....

Congrat's on your new bike, those springers are real sharp[smiley=2vrolijk_21.gif]

Again, Welcome to the site. Enjoy the ride :)

Take care,

Grover

Welcome to the site Skippy and Congrats on the lovely new bike.  I believe Harley uses the CVO line to introduce new chrome goodies for the other bikes but they don't seem to make any specifically for the CVO's until they have been released.  You would think though that the average piece of chrome for a Springer would fit it.

Cheers and good luck.

Welcome aboard, Skippy.  As to knowledge of 110 parts, I have none (dang-it)....but sometimes it is a wait and see proposition or try to adapt some that are not listed for your bike but will fit anyway.  Lots of time the after mkt. supplies come out with chrome stuff for a new motor or bike before the MOCO.  Ain't it fun?  ::) har!  ;D spyder

Skippy, welcome to the site, boy that springer is popular this year.  Great to have a CVO Springer.

Waiting to hear what parts are the issue.
