DTC
« on: March 21, 2015, 09:41:56 AM »

I have several DTC codes. It started  this P0113, TMAP sensor. I changed sensor. Then..
Started  engine"check engine light" illuminating again.
New DTC:s P0107 MAP sensor  low or open, P0132 front O2 sensor high(engine running too rich or lambda is broken?), P0152 Rear sensor high same as front.
Does anybody have same problem? Bike is 2012 CVO ULTRA.

You didn't mention if you did it but you should display all of the codes and write them down in the order they were displayed.

Then clear them and go for a ride and see what code is displayed first. That's your starting point. Resolve the source of that code and move forward to the next one.  I was advised that the source of the first code will sometimes cause serveral codes to appear.

Good hunting.

As you most likely noticed, just because you get a code that mentions a particular sensor doesn't necessarily mean you should just change that sensor.  If I read the original post correctly, you changed the TMAP sensor in response to the P0113 code, then you got a different TMAP related code.  This is often the case, especially when you have multiple codes at the same time.

I'd suggest getting your hands on the Electrical and Diagnostic Manual for your model and follow the diagnostic routines for those codes.  You may have one issue that is causing all those codes, and not necessarily due to any of the actual sensors you mentioned.

Btw, it's often helpful to think back to what, if any, repairs or modifications you may have had done recently.

This what I did.
P0113 code was correct DTC. What is reason for DTC code P0107?
I went this way:
Checked fuses, all good
Read battery 12,59 volts. After that disconnected and cleaned and connected again
Disconnected MAP sensor plug.
Next ignition on and run switch on. Read volts Black/grey (-) and red/blue(+), it was 1.23 volts. Manual says it should be 5 volts. Disconnected battery cables.
After that pulled starter motor and oil dipstick away. Disconnected VSS sensor. Sensor is beneath starter.
Connected VSS and starter and battery cables. Ignition on, run switch and read values MAP sensor plug as above I did. It was 5.02 volts, good.
Connected MAP sensor. Installed air cleaner. Cleared DTC codes. Finally started bike and problem solved. No DTC codes. And after that I took one :drink: ..just one.

ride safe.
