Thanks all it was indeed a great day. So good I had to go back out again this afternoon. Forgot to check mileage before I left so don't know how far I went I would guess somewhere between 75 - 100 miles. Everything still feels good and I'll be getting some more miles under my belt probably this weekend if weather allows.

Not really sure. Just going to do what feels comfortable. I was just so excited to be out today on some twolane country roads accelerating out of corners, getting "on the cam" in the straightaways. I don't think I could have been anymore excited being on a date w/the Playmate of The Year.

Great report.  Glad everything is going well.  Bet you will be able to meet me at Waugh's in a couple of weeks.   As we get closer to MBBW, let me know what your plans are and maybe we can ride down together.

He's going to find out. I'm doing some advertisement work for hospital on joint replacement (commercial, web stuff, and print add) so he's going to find out. He's a really cool (young) doc and will understand. Plus the more I can return to more normal lifestyle the better it shows his skills.

No celebrity. Just blessed to have had a good team (surgeon, nurses, therapist, etc) and been able to recover as fast as I have. They have all told me that I was in the less then 1% of patients that have recovered as quickly after this procedure. I was just so happy to not be in pain anymore I was ready to try/do anything they said I could.

2007, amazing Gary.

I'm at 11 months and can't believe what a change a hip makes.

I too was in the quick recovery group. I have attributed it to being in decent shape and getting the anterior method.

Hope all is well.
