To me the grill only has value if you want
 to gut the tweeter that is in there and mount something good in its place. So If you look at it as you are spending $160 for a custom tweeter mount that looks completely stock then it isn't too expensive

Having a one-off set of grills made like that would cost a lot more than $320 I would think

I did that with my lid speakers. I wanted the factory bridge so I bought the whole lid set then cut the bridges off of the stock harley junk. What I ended up with is a completely stock looking set of speakers that look and mount exactly like factory but are JL Audio C5-570 drivers.

Here is what I did ... Crazy I know but I dig people looking at it and going ... "How the F**K do your H-D factory speakers sound like that?!?!?"

Then I say ... "Well ... they are JL Audio" ... :)

So then I started working with HAT and got their drop-ins going .... freakin' BAD-AZZ product for 5x7 drop in lids. My review is here:

These will work terrific on the '14+ but of course, are 4 ohm ... sorry ... it's the way it is in mobile audio.
