I'm on V&H TD pipes

The V&H ovals mount the same so there is some adjustment available but it kinda depends whether you can slide the "extra" exhaust pipe further into the muffler or only just fill the "clamping area"

Certainly the SPO's sit further back than the V&H Ovals did

Cobaltman - you have something in common with Spiderman

He's half a sheepsh@gger too (Ooops - just funning...)  [smiley=nervous.gif]

Rooster, the tow bracket is made up by the same guys that make the trailer - Watsonian-Squire

http://www.watsonian-squire.com/

They also make sidecars and import Royal Enfields from India !!

They're real nice people to work with too  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

On first glance the towbar looks like the regular ones that just bolt on to the fender struts and saddlebag rail mounting points but there's an additional bracing arm on each side that goes forward to the lower bolt of the passenger footboard mounts

Then there's a couple of 1" x 1/8" bars go up diagonally to the top of the fender struts to triangulate it a bit

I reckon I could hang the bike from the tow ball - it's on there pretty good

The actual ball is bolted through the mounting plate so I can remove it easily if I want to but actually I just leave it there all the time

Cheers

Dave

For SERK3 stock exhaust, 27" from the end of the header chrome shield.  A little fuzzy in the photo, just trust me.

OK here's some pics of the S&S SPO's on the bike

First the overhang at the back - not a big problem for me since I have a towbracket fitted

You can see how the mufflers fill out the space under the saddlebag

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

See you have the S & S SPO's that Hoist is going to fit to his bike. i will be really interested to hear what you think of them as they look kinda cool in the pictures.

Hey Hoist - maybe you just have a point about them looking way different. Then again if I got them UK Dave would have beaten me to them.
