Retune required??
« on: April 03, 2015, 03:38:43 PM »

I'm removing the Rhineharts and installing the original CVO mufflers on the bike prior to trading it in. I haven't made the switch yet, but was curious if the bike is going to run too rough when they inspect it prior to the trade or if it will be be fine?   :nixweiss:

Forgot to add it has an S&S headpipe.

I would put the stock can back on and fire it up.I under the impression that the stock mufflers should be more restrictive than your Rhineharts and if less restrictive makes the bike run lean then more restrictive would actually make it run a tad rich?? The ECM and O2 sensors should be able to compensate for the change in mufflers back to stock..

I'm not a tuner but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express --- once  ;D

Thanks for responding, I just wanted to make sure when I take it to  the Dealer the bike it doesn't act like a dog and I didn't want to waste time switching either so thanks.
