I am curious what you guys have been doing with the retention clip that comes with the kit for the oil deflector.  Are you guys leaving it on there on not even using it?  I just jb weld the deflector on and used the retention clip to help hold in on while it set up.  But not sure if its suppose to stay on there or if everyone is going without it.  The harley instructions don't say anything about taking it off.  Just not sure about another piece that could fall off in the chain.
