Like Screamn, I have not problems with the clutch.  I have a bit smaller hand than perhaps a lot of touring bike riders, and without the assistance, I would tire pretty quickly in stop and go traffic.  I had forgotten that it was different, but you have reminded me that this was one of the positive changes that I got when I got the SEEG.  I had the easy-pull added to the Road King so I could ride it, but the hydraulic is way easier to use, never needs to be adjusted, and I can ride around - under power - in a parking lot, using that friction zone all day long, and never get cramped hands.  There is definitely a friction zone feel about the clutch.
