I'm leaning towards using the Dynojet Power Vision PV-2 to tune my 2015 FLTRUSE. While the PV-2 can be had from Amazon.com for $429 + free shipping to HI ;D ........I'm thinking that Fuel Moto at $499 + $15 shipping is the way to go because of their service and commitment to working with their customers. They also provide a handlebar mounting kit (Arkon GN032-AMPS) and sunshade in their price.

My question is: does the Arkon GN032-AMPS clamp fit anywhere useful (or at all) on the 2015 SERG handlebar?? I don't see a long enough straight section on the handlebar which isn't mostly vertical ::).

The mount imho does not fit very well to be viewed due to the interference with the master cylinders
on both sides, I prefer to mount the gps bracket to the screws that hold the clamp to the brake/clutch assy.

Just what has worked for me 8)

I just used the Power Vision with a Fuelmoto map on my 2015 FLHXSE.  It runs like champ and it took all of 2 minutes to flash the tune/map to the bike. There are guys that swear by 2-3 hours of dyno time....and that's cool if you want to do that.  For my money, I'll stick with Fuelmoto and the power vision.  Jamie from Fuelmoto is a top tuner anyways.....

The PV is fine and the idea of a spot on base map for free is funny If its not tuned for your bike its not for your bike , its that simple. It is just a base map. And the PV will have a base map to start with.

You will do fine with use of the auto tune on your own.. Go for a nice ride down the 56 over to the 50 ,..  Stop maybe 3 times to upload the changes eat lunch in Poipu area and by the time you get back home , stopping 2-3 more times to upload you will have a great running bike with a map that is better than anything that you will get for free.   You might find a few areas to see some high speeds but I doubt it .. HA HA Love the island .

I have a power vision from Fuelmoto. Jamie and his crew are knowledgeable and eager to help. Having said that, the canned map with the addition of a couple auto tunes ran "fine" if that's what you're looking for.

After having my biked fully tuned by one of the best out there (Doug Lofgren) I'll be skipping maps and auto tune in the future in favor of a real tune. No comparison.

Mahalo GMR :)! I did purchase the Power Vision from Fuel Moto and flashed my ECM with the supplied 2015 110 Improved Stock file. Next step is to Autotune as per your suggestion. We typically ride to Poipu and have lunch at Brennecke's Beach. A bit of high speed is possible in front of Kauai Coffee on the way to Port Allen ;D. Clearly you know Kauai.....and the limited "one road around the island" situation ::).

That's why we ship our bike to the mainland most every year for a six week + road trip. The end of this June we'll begin from San Diego for a cross country ride to include the Outer Banks of North Carolina before heading back .......we can hardly wait :coolblue:!!

FWIW, I was able to mount the PV to the handlebar as per this pic:

Brennecke's Beach is a very nice area.. We stay at the Hilton just up the beach some.. Dive with the turtles off of the stone house point.. Wife likes the old town section for shopping..

5 day package for under 3000.. If you book out further play with the dates you can get a great price.. And you can go visit a fellow CVO member.. Princeville is at the end of the road so to speak on the north part of the island.. most stay at the south part of the island .

Sorry to hijack.. and yes the High speed in that area would work.. ..  I have to say I liked your island over Maui hands down.. I will be back without a doubt..
