Fuel leak
« on: April 19, 2015, 06:51:29 AM »

So I've been cleaning my 2014 SERK and took the tank off to get better access to the top end. I've just put it back together and I've got a bad fuel leak. I've seated and unseated the quick release coupling loads of times and made sure it's all clean and no grit has got in there. I get it seated and it clicks home and everything looks fine then I start the bike and it starts dripping out quite fast. Any ideas anyone before I take the tank off again to investigate further?

Sounds like the O ring got pinched or torn, disconnect line and inspect closely.....could be a very small nick.

Update. It's sorted. I lifted up the quick connect fitting and ran my finger nail round the base of the fitting where there's a groove and it's not leaking now. Must have been a very small foreign object in there preventing it from seating home
