They look awesome WVHoop, I am glad I went with the Yaffe 12" bars. I just pulled the trigger on all the parts to do this upgrade

My Yaffe 12's, most comfortable bars I've ever had.

never had bar's on my bike ,....but, the 10's do look nice... do stock cable's work ... no need to change out the clutch and brake line's...thx

Used the stock lines and wires... just had to remove stock mirrors and install bar mounted ones.

Paul..let me get this straight...you used the stock brake and clutch lines when you did the 10's?  The rest I can do...just didn't want to crack open the brake line.

10's don't require any extensions. 12 and up will.

Sounds good....confirming with Paul would be perfect since we have the same bike.

I had to change the clutch line on my '11 and I went with WO575's which are less than 10's.....

You are going to love the 12's. Yaffe will tell you that you can get by without even changing the lines on our bikes for 12's, but I think that is pushing it, and mine are extended. Several have posted installing 10's on our bikes without changing the lines. You should be fine.

Yes Mike, no other changes needed to change to that 10" bar.

Thanks for all the responses.....now to find the time or maybe it will wait until this riding season is over. Don't want to rush it, but also don't want the bike down during nice weather.

I plan on changing the bars out for 16" Carlini Gangster Glides, in the next week or so.  Just have to decide on cables and get them here.  I had them on my 2013 SG and loved them.  Will try to figure out how to post pics after the job is finished.

Hey mike...I had the 575 s for a while too.   I now have the 577s.   Which are 12".  You can roll them back some.  Made a huge improvement.  I will do that again when I decide to get a new ride.   Best mod you can do.    Stuart

I just put Yaffee classic 12 inch bars on with the stock cables. I think you will be fine.

I have just ordered the Yaffe 12" bars. They told me no need to order extra extended Clutch / Brake lines as the new 2015 CVO's have enough slack cable already. Can you confirm that. ? I do not want to get into changing the bars to find out that my cables are to short. I was recommended to buy the extension kit only $25.00 dollars. Just hope there advice is correct ?

Thanks.

Pulling the pin and rolling the bars forward.....already done??

My 15 RGU CVO was purchased slightly used, wondering if the bars have already been moved??
I read someone here or elsewhere mentioning they had "moved them slightly forward of level with the forks".
Mine are already considerably forward(closer to vertical) of the forks, so have they been moved??

Where are they from the factory exactly??  I haven't been able to find a photo that shows it very well from the side.
Don't really want to pull it apart just find out they've been moved.
