So other than being generally a PIA to take off, it is not all that difficult and since the sharing of the tube socks over passing lamps, it is easier yet.  But, is the fairing for the Road Glide a lot harder to take on and off than the Electra Glides?

                    Why do I want to know?

Abs-a-freakin-lootly,
       I've seen Brian blow $1k on chrome stuff that goes under saddlebags or the rear fender and inside Tour Pak's.  He got a little shell shocked (pun intended) with that outer fairing.  Definitely ain't the $$$ thing.  Maybe one day he'll face these fears head on.........and then can fully recover.

Two,
    We were both out of sorts that weekend.......wrenches flying.....name calling (worse than usual...if you can believe THAT).  In the end,  we both learned something,  next time is a piece of pie....um...I mean cake!!!  The only part I don't like is we'll have to do it at his place (I don't know where anything is in his toolbox....real PIA to open every drawer in the box to find a wrench),  the upside is.......he's gotta buy the Makers this time
