OK...did the update for the second time and AVC still does not work. And the screen stayed really dark for about 15 minutes before it brightened. It might be working for some but not for me. Still have to follow the old procedure to get it working.
Well that sucks. I am enjoying not having to lower the volume after coming to a stop. Just to make sure we are comparing apples to apples I have attached an image showing the files I used with sizes, dates, times etc in OSX Finder. Since you are using a MAC they should be the same for you. They may be different for someone using Windows.

And here is the contents of the update info/text file.

I guess I lucked out on my 2015 FLTRUSE I updated and the avs works now and the ability to skip my iPod forward works now also have not found other changes or mess ups yet if they are there.

Updated mine when the 1.19 first came out.  Radio's been acting a bit weird since sometimes changing to other bands.  I actually thought I had bumped the left joystick a few times.  Then we had a storm come through over the weekend and every time NWS would send out an alert it would change to WB.  I finally got tired of it going to an unreadable night display whenever I started in a garage or went into a dark area and turned Auto display to Day only.  The AVC works but its very little change. Goes to higher volume at about 5-10 mph and stays at that volume regardless of speed until I almost stop.  Sometimes this stuff is not great but I still like the radio sound and having a map with me all the time.

The radio switching to the WB when an alert is sent out, is a setting that you have set to do that, whether or not you set it or it is by default set to do it, it is a setting that can be changed. You need to go in and change it to not automatically switch to WB when an alert is sent, if this is something you do not want it to do.

2015 FLTRUSE--I loaded the latest update 1.19.0 with no problems and the AVC seems to work OK. However, now, the left thumb home switch won't activate the home screen. I can access it from the home button on the screen. Any ideas?  Thanks.

AVC works. Has several stops/starts and still working, not as good as before but acceptable.

I'm not sure about it because you did not say what the toggle is doing when you press it, but my guess is, you have it set to classic mode, which will toggle thru the audio sources and not between the home screen and the last source.

Just in case, go to Home>Setup and then see whether the box is checked or not, I am thinking it is now checked, so remove the check mark and it will be back to switching between the Home Screen and the last Source.

Well we are really scraping bottom at this point, and I'm just throwing this out there since I noticed you may be from Canada. It seems like I heard there are some differences in the bikes sold in Canada compared to here... as in "Domestic". Notice in the update info file it specifies Domestic.

Does anyone know if Canadian bikes NEED a different BOOM software update? I also noticed someone else from outside the USA asked when an update would be available.
Also, as OBB and others have stated, the AVC is minimal. You have to essentially come to a complete stop before the volume drops, and it goes right back to full volume setting by maybe 3-5 miles per hour. Maybe you didn't actually come to a complete stop? Good luck. I can not imagine that the AVC code was written such that it matters what audio source is being used, but to be thorough I am strictly using a memory stick with around 3000 songs on it, and only checked AVC using it. Good luck.

Now I'm noticing the "different audio source on startup" that others have mentioned. Annoying? Slightly. However it should retain it's memory.

In the text file it gives the part numbers that the update is for. 76000228 and 76000228A. Mine is 76000228. So should work in Canada as well. I'll make sure I come to a complete stop and see if it works though.

Similar to what I noticed on planning my Poker run route last week.  Put in first destination, hit go.  Then added the second stop, hit go, and it asked if I wanted to add it to the route.  I hit yes.  so it tried to take me to the second destination first then back to the first destination.  Really screwy.

I tried loading again but put the text file in as well. Don't see how that would make a difference but now avc is working at #2 setting. I haven't tried any other setting.
