New CVO guy in WY

Just bought a 2013 Road King CVO Anniversary Edition. My first HD, after nearly 30 years of riding. Flew to San Antonio to buy it and spent the next day and a half riding it 1100 miles back to Laramie WY. It is dimensionally a bit smaller than the Honda VTX Retro I've been riding for the past 50,000 miles so I ordered an Ultimate Seat Co. "Tall Boy" and back rest. I had that seat on the VTX and it moved me back a couple inches as well as raised me up a bit. I'm 6'2" and about 230 pounds. The RK is a bit cramped with the stock seat. Hoping the Ultimate Seat will prevent me from having to open the "forward controls" can of worms.  Anyway, I look forward to hearing your experiences with accessories, maintenance ideas and CVO ownership in general. Thanks!

Welcome,  from  the Land of Oz!    You might try highway  pegs located so you  can brake and down shift with you heels.   Heels on the boards and balls of you foot on the pegs.  Works pretty well with out a lot of cost or fuss.
