ipod / boomblaster volume starts very loud when the ignition is switched on every time..very annoying!
how do you get the music to not start playing automatically when the ignition turned on???

I have learned to crank the volume down right before I kill the motor. I always thought it sub-par that the darned thing turns on as soon as you turn the ignition on.

Yes! Worst is when driving and have a lot of volume press pause and stop. next time you then turn the ignition on.. boom !!

The volume control rocker can also be pushed in to access another input.  If nothing is hooked up to the other input you have silence

Tried that already. With the ipod plugged in, she always reverts back to the ipod when the ignition is tuned on
