A picture is worth a thousand words...  I've heard that can be a very painful surgery and recovery.  God speed for your recovery!

It's really amazing to me what these doctors and surgeons can do for us . I had both my knees fixed a few years ago and now they are the best part of me.,,wishing you comfort and a speedy recovery.  Stuart .

Wow!  It makes me realize how much I take healthy feet for granted!  Thanks for waking me up, Scott!  At our age, guess we need to be thankfor for each body part that ain't hurting or needs fixin'!
Hope it all heals up pronto and that you still have the resilience and some patience left over to do the other foot when the time comes!

I'm made it home from today's surgery.  The doctor was pleased with the outcome.  (Aren't doctors always pleased with the outcome of their efforts?  lol).  He said it was not nearly as difficult of surgery as my left foot was a few months ago.  I suggested I'd expect not nearly the same bill as my first foot since the surgery was much easier for him this time!  He laughed out loud - I'm not sure what to make of that...   ???

So now it's eight weeks on crutches, no weight bearing.  I'm hoping snow and ice holds off for a bit...  Occasional pain pills and patience is on my agenda now...  Maybe a good book or two!

Congenital from both sides...  Grandfather, uncle, mother, sister and who knows what other relatives...     :(

They were getting gradually, progressively worse.  It became apparent I would eventually have to have them corrected.
