"Jim now has his own Dyno which makes things easier."

How long has he been tuning? No disrespect, but, just having a dyno doesn't make one a tuner. Some dealers have state of the art dyno cells, and either don't know how to use them, or won't spend the time needed.

I think that's who Jim at Metal Dragon sends his bikes to for dyno tunes.  Can't go wrong with those two guys.   :2vrolijk_21:

Jim has his own dyno now, so it's all in one shop.

True, however Jim is well versed in the tuning arena, quite knowledgable and well respected out here and on this forum.

I have an appointment with Jim @ Metal Dragon in Hayword Ca. After watching and researching the Feuling 574 cam installs and Dyno reports, here in central California, Metal Dragon has the best reputation around for what I need.

When I lived just down the hill from you (Elk Grove), my 2010 SE Street Glide was the first 110" that Jim put the Fueling 574 cams in.  It ran great......all over the valley and those mountains....   http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=44545.msg674990#msg674990

:2vrolijk_21: Good to hear. I hadn't heard of him, but knew of Bob. After having several mediocre to bad tunes, I like to see guys get the best tune they can.

Went to see Jim @ Metel Dragon and have him tune my bike. Just so you'll know, he has the latest and greatest new Dyno. He went over everything with me and stated if I wanted to hang out for the day he would tune it and I could take it back home the same day. This was great because I had rented a trailer to bring him the bike. I live about 100 miles away so this saved me time and money. I dropped off the bike and took off for a few hours. When I got back he was still tuning and breaking in my new motor performing heat cycles to help speed things along. Once he was happy with the basic map, so the bike was no longer running lean, he went to work in ernest. About an hour later he was done and happy with the results, and once I road the bike, so was I. Very smooth and great power from 2K up to redline. My bike is a 110 with stock compression and has Feuling 574 cams, big sucker air cleaner and V & H slip on's with stock head pipes. I wanted a very strong torque curve for 2 up riding and less heat from the engine. Jim accomplished my goals in spades. I could not ask for a nicer guy and better service. I will use him for all my motorcycle needs that I can't handle myself. As far as numbers, I'm just @ 100 HP and 110 torque. Jim said if I improve my exhaust and intake he can get me another 10% or so, but for now I'm happy and the bike does what I need it to. So if you need tune work in central California, I would give Jim a call and let him see what he can do for you.
Ridin again and happy,
Chris  :orange:

Update....went riding today, finally got insurance, so I went for a longer ride. The good news is the bike runs great! The bad news is, I have an oil leak, and it looks to be coming from between the inner primary cover and the transmission. I went home and checked the engine and primary case oil levels and all seems good. I also checked the transmission oil and it seems ok. So it was suggested to change the trans oil to Redline. Two reasons for this, 1) it's a better oil for the transmission and 2) I'll continue to monitor the leak and see if the fluid is now red. If not, the leaks coming from the primary inner seal, If the leak is red then I know it's coming from the transmission. I cleaned everything up and drove it around the block and so far no leaks of any kind, so I guess it needs a longer ride to show it self. Bummer. LOL!!!I repost with my answer after the next longer ride. Gosh it's nice to be riding again.... :huepfenjump3:
