Headsets 77117-10 vs 77147-98a
« on: June 19, 2015, 04:48:59 PM »

I bought a set of the Boom Audio 77117-10 for my 2010 and ran them for a couple years. New 2014 CVO Limited came with two 77147-98A head sets. I swear they sound the same although all the new Limiteds are coming with one 77147-98A and Harley advertising the BOOM Audio set as an improvement. When I first bought the Boom pair 77117-10 I thought they did sound better than the stock set Harley sent me, but maybe my other set was from my 2001 Ultra and wasn't a "A" version, just 77147-98.

I see all three being offered on EBAY.

Only know that the "A" should be better than the non-A version but don't really know if the BOOM set is really any better now...

Any opinions...Speakers look the same when foam is removed, housings are identical ...
