Hyperpro Shocks
« on: June 29, 2015, 11:46:35 PM »

Well I bought a set of Hyperpro HDXX+12.50-7 shocks for 1300 bucks. Of course there are the adjustable progressive springs. There are High and Low speed compression adjustments and rebound.  I certainly hope I can get the ride I want. Louisiana roads suck, pot holes, expansion joints at bridges. I have spent a lot of money over the years and was never satisfied. I hope I will be now.
Has anyone had any experience with these shocks?
Thanks

Keep us updated as you put on some miles.  What was on your bike prior to these?

I tried Smooth Ride Air shocks.  Rebound was awful.  Progressive Air Shocks rode well but leaked. Progressive 444 shocks with the standard springs, are way too still. Bike weight only sags 3/16" with Bike only. With me on bike with light preload it is too harsh on sharp bumps. I don't recommend them to anyone. I got to wait a about 3 weeks I think for shocks. I will post pics when installed and give a report on ride after 1st ride and after miles once tuned to my liking.
