does anyone have avon cobra tyres/tires on their ffxstsse3 or indeed any other harley, if so what pressures are uou running, some sites seem to suggest they shuld be higher than the manual shows.  when they were fitted the garage put 25psi in both front and rear and i had a terrible ride ive now put 36/38 in and its much better but dont trust what the garage are now telling me

I normally would recommend running the pressures in the bike's owners manual, but when switching tire brands it's also a good idea to verify the recommended pressures with the tire manufacturer.  This link will take you to the contact page on the Avon website for Great Britain.  There is a phone number listed, or a form you can fill out and send electronically.  I didn't find a page listing recommended pressures on that site, but strangely enough the US Avon site has such a page.
