Re tuned
« on: July 10, 2015, 06:28:02 PM »

Had my bike re tuned by Russell at loanwolf great guy and my bike runs great now was getting around 35 mpg and it wasn't running good down low so I got it re tuned I have a gmr 113 kit with 600 cam and I threw a screaming eagle 58 and 5.3s in there the map doesn't do it justice Russell figured his dyno is reading 6% low but it runs good now and i got 56 mpg hand calculated on a couple tanks so I'm happy with it now might need a turbo still but it has pretty good power.

Ya one up I was getting almost 500 kms a tank (310miles) on 6 gal so just a bit over 50 I guess I was only running 100 to 110 driving easy 60-65 mph

What pipes are you running?  Your numbers are almost identical to mine.  My best mpg's to date is 46, but usually hang at 41.  I have a thread posted with my chart....  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=100411.0

Russel has struggled with the dyno for some time now. The tunes are great and no issue there but his numbers are very low and in fact he has had several bikes that have been on other dynos showing 6-10% higher final numbers..

I know that he is going to send the stack in for repair .. It does happen , but glad that the tune is better..

Ya he said he was going to send in his stack in it wasn't so much about the numbers it runs a lot better now even at an idle it could still use more power but that's always the case you can never have enough I may look into doing the heads over winter and maybe deck the head .010 to bump the cr if there is still room for that ? I don't no how much more is in the heads 5 hp ?
