Bitubo for 2015 CVORGU advice
« on: July 12, 2015, 09:22:58 AM »

I need a thorough honest review of these before I purchase please.

Price is right, $550 and I was told to ride them for a month and if I didn't like them to return them. So that seems fair.

The air set up on this bike is sub par at best and I'm tired of the wife huffing and cussing when we hit a good bump.

I have also considered the Ohlins #6 but they are quite a it more expensive even after a discount.

So bitubo riders let me know how you like them or don't.

I've been running the Bitubo 330mm WME's since last season, same price as what you mentioned. I can't offer a comparison to other shocks on the market, but can comment that I'm more than pleased with mine - no issues/complaints & the bike handles well. Haven't ridden two up much but when I did I never made an adjustment on the shocks. Dan at Traxxion Dynamics recommended these - less money than those with the reservoir. He indicated with the type of riding I do as described it would make no difference in performance.

That's pretty much what he told me as well. Good to hear from someone else and not just the salesman, no offense intended to Dan.

I've run the Bitubo rear shocks on three different bikes.  Each bike had had something else on prior.  None of them got anything else after while I had them.  With just a little time taken to dial them in they're the best I've ever ridden on a full sized Harley.  I understand their are options out there even more exotic and expensive.  But I've never tried them and they'd be out of my price range for a suspension upgrade.  These are good enough I never had reason to look further though.

Awesome. That's good to hear.

Waiting on a local guy to receive his and see what he thinks, also a chance to see them in person rather than a stock internet pic.

If he too is satisfied I'll probably make a purchase after Sturgis.
