LOL I just saw this, Mike!

Yeah, ole HoneyBadger ain't seen the road a whole lot this year...

I've been on the lake a lot in Nau(gh)tiBadger tho. She has a brand new 3200 watt, 10 speaker audio system, designed and installed by Yours Truly including TWO Kicker 12" CompR subs on their own 2400 watt Kicker CX1200.1 Class D monoblock sub amp @ 2 ohms, and 8 Infinity Reference Marine speakers on a JL Audio XD800/8v2 Class D amp, with a Kenwood KMRD562BT head unit driven by my iPhone 6 Plus connected via Bluetooth running Pandora.

I used all pure OFC 0/1 gauge tinned marine-grade power/ground wiring, going down to OFC tinned 4 gauge wire into and out of the amps. All marine-grade tinned OFC 14 gauge speaker wire, too. Not an inch of that crappy CCA wire anywhere in the boat.

Playing Rush with the sub gain set beyond 50% will blow everyone right outta the boat! Seriously! My daughter's ears were BLEEDING last time we went out! She was thrashing around painfully, while her boyfriend and I were reveling in Limelight, Tom Sawyer, and YYZ! LOL!

The boat has dual high-CCA deep-cycle batteries on a battery selector switch, too… so I don't have to be concerned about starting the engine to get back to the boat ramp at the end of the day.

Gear is a lot easier to put on, too... just a pair of trunks and flip flops. No boots, jeans, or jacket needed. Plus, it's GREAT to be able to just jump in the water when it's 95 degrees, and you can drink a lot more BEER on the lake before you get in trouble!

I've sat floating around in Lake Lanier a lot this summer, cool as a cucumber, enjoying a nice SchöfferHoffer Grapefruit "lake" beer, having a smoke, watching the poor bike riders sweating their way across the Buford Dam on a blistering-hot July weekend day... and even if I felt sorry for 'em, I had absolutely NO desire to JOIN 'em on their miserable trek.

But now that it's cooled off, I need to put Nau(gh)tiBadger to sleep for the Winter (AFTER this Sunday...), and let HoneyBadger flex her muscles on the roads once again...
