I'm flying down to Clearwater Thursday morning for several days of business and then I'll have a few days to play. Looking into renting a bike while I'm there.

Any good spots to ride around that area?

I saw a neat and reasonable rental place on Clearwater Beach last week....

stop into the Fletcher HD Tshirt shop on Mandalay....across from the Hilton.. Cat has the flyers for the rental Joint...
i have the info but not with me...
Cats son is the proprietor..so the guy will show some love if you tell him Cat sent ya

DUANE,GLAD YOU MADE IT OK. AS YOU SEE THE WEATHER HERE IS AWSOME, MAYBE LOW 70'S TODAY. WILL BE A GREAT DAY FOR A RIDE. IM WORKING TODAYTILL MID AFTERNOON BUT AFTER THAT IM FREE AS A EAGLE. Got 5 minutes here in between meetings.

I had the opportunity to hook up with "gettinold" Dave and "pumpkinowners wife" Helen on Sunday. Along with Dave was his friend Chris, also another F/F.

Dave took me on a nice leisurely ride all around his area, I think we clocked about 175 miles over 5-6 hours. Couple of stops along the way and we ended up at another CVO riders home, Frank & Pam. Here we indulged in wings, pasta and other goodies thanks to Pam & Frank's hospitality.

The weather was perfect the rides even better and I am taking this space to publicly thank Dave and Helen for their hospitality.

Didn't take any pictures during the ride, but Helen snapped a few before we left, maybe she'll post them.
