Was wondering if anybody has bought a seat like these Gels and what your experience with them are. Was thinking about ordering the dominator seat and Pillion. :coolblue:

I used a dominator seat last week for a day(dealer let me order it and use it to see if I would like it). Anyway my 2 cents for me and my bike was that it sat me up a little too high and a little too forward but with that said, the seat itself was of top notch quality unlike anything I have seen, material, gel padding, design, attach hardware, etc. I would have purchased in a second if it was the sitting position I was looking for. If you get a chance to see for yourself-I would definitely give it a try and see for yourself. I ended up with the Mustang vintage solo seat because it sat me back about an inch or so and a little lower.

Well I guest I will find out, I ordered it today. I measured the depth of my  seat on my bike last night and  its like 3/4 of and inch lower than the saddlemen, but they said once the new one is broke in it will drop slightly. I have a 120 day return and if I am not pleased with it I can return it immediately. thanks for your input Skorch.

Sounds like an awesome deal-120 days, all I had was one day. Good luck with it-I think you will be pleased with it.

Can you post a report after you get some miles on it.  It's a great looking seat, but being 5'9, I'm concerned about adding seat height.  Also, if you got the backrest, can you post some pics from the rear of the bike with the backrest mounted?  I couldnt find any on the web.

5'9 ? you shouldn't have a problem Bro.....I am 5'6 and my knees are bent on my CVO, and boots flat on the ground, I sit good on the Ultas also. But yes i will post some picks but the Pillion and Backrest are on a 7-10 day back order through JP cycles. Once I get them I will post some pics.

The reviews I read say once that seat breaks in it will drop a little bit.

Mounted the new Drivers seat, feels and looks great, feet flat on the ground but it does sit me up a little higher and forward...will take it for a ride tomorrow, should be ok cause it feels good.
