lol well hopefully its just carbon build up.  But if it is I still need to figure out why it isn't running right.

Run a gallon of TORCO 112, or 114 through it 3 or 4 times, and twist it.  I mean twist it hard!  Quit babying that Motorsickle!  Quit lugging it.  Of course, if you don't do that, disregard.  8) Later--HUBBARD

The bike isn't babied but it also isn't abused.  Will try the race gas trick and re-scope when I get back from vacation.

It doesn't matter how you ride them- the 110's have bad cylinders and piston fit that lets the thinner synthetic oil past the rings. My pistons had horrible carbon build up after 30,000 miles.

As far as running cleaners, I used to put Seafoam through all the time. It probably did it's job- problem was that the carbon was dragged by the piston up and down, and scored the cylinder walls.

It's been 17,000 miles since my rebuild, and I'm now using 1 1/2 quarts of oil every 3000 miles. Looks like it's time to open it up again and I'll probably find more carbon build up from oil that is likely leaking into the chambers.

Didn't say it would.  All I know is, I do it, and my Pistons don't look like that.  There endeth the lesson.  Later--HUBBARD

Venting the breathers outside the engine will help keep carbon build-up down.
