I have to pull my tank a bunch of times,  for various reasons.   Is there a quick release hose system that prevents fuel leaking for the hose in the front of the tank?  That would make life much easier.

Used to be some pre-made stuff you could buy for that.  Not that I've seen available for years though.  No big deal.  Make your own.  Just need a quick coupler made for 5/16 fuel line and a couple of short pieces of line.  I've made one for every bike I ever had with the external crossover.

There did used to be a quick disconnect fuel crossover available some years ago, but when I tried to get one for my 2007 CVO RK,
could not find it anywhere, ended up making my own version with the harley part no 63692-00a (braided stainless steel fuel line),
according to HD catalog does not fit tourers, but once you fit a quick disconnect self sealing connector it does fit fine.
As you say with it fitted can remove the tank in 10 minutes!!
Make sure when you cut the harley braided fuel line you use a dremil with a fine metal cutting disc and clamp it so you get a clean cut.
Its worth the effort.

Thanks for the tips.  Another little project to get to.
