Front fairing water tight?
« on: August 18, 2015, 09:55:31 PM »

I have 2014 CVO Limited and a few days ago I took the front fairing off for the first time. How water proof is the fairing? The front vent doesn't look to be water tight at all.

It's not water tight and not intended to be.

Don't use a pressure washer on the bike...and you'll be fine.

They have never been water tight, no attempt is made at all.

The inner fairing was never designed to be watertight. Just ask any of us who put the Bluetooth module in there. $1200 later, I learned my lesson.
