Got back from a ride last night,went to unlock one of my saddlebags to put my glasses away but I didn't have to unlock it,already was. Seems the little triangle metal thingy (Harley calls it a cam hook) must have fallen off when the nut (Harley probably calls that something else as well) must have vibrated off. The cam is on the back of the lock assembly and when you turn the key it engages in a slot. So I guess now I have to add that to my pre-ride inspection.All kidding aside I didn't notice any locktite residue left on the bolt so I guess that may be the issue. However when I called my local Harley dealer he did know exactly what I needed and said they have plenty of both the cam hook (stupid name,I like metal thingy better) and nuts in stock. The nuts in stock he was talking about maybe the employees. And for 5.13 I will be on my way. Yeah right, like I can get out of there for a 5.00 bill, can't have too many black t-shirts, or maybe a new hat, we all know the drill.
